| Long description | 3M™ UHMW-PE Film Tape 5423 is a tape that protects surfaces from wear and is ideal for surfaces that are subject to sliding and impact wear. It has excellent wear resistance and chemical resistance. The tape can be used in places that squeak or rattle as a result of vibrations or wear to metals or plastics. Examples include discharge chutes, protection of spray booths, flat guide rails on conveyor belts, tank and bin liners, drawer and cabinet sliders and protection of aluminium sheets during stretch forming processes.
