Technical info | - Water-borne, 2-component epoxy paint. Durable and glossy finish
- Product description: Water-borne strong epoxy paint for indoor use on concrete- and wooden floors and concrete walls. Provides a hardwearing, chemical resistant, easy-to-clean and glossy surface for workshops, garages, warehouses and food storages.
- Pre-treatment: The floor must be clean, free of dust and dry with max. 10% relative humidity. To obtain good adhesion the floor must be absorbent. Best drying conditions is above 15°C and relative humidity below 85%. Can be used on previously painted floors if these are sanded first.
- Applying: Stir the paint homogeneously. Add the hardener to the paint by using the cardboard scraper and stir the mixture homogeneously. Use the mixture within 3 hours. It is important to keep the mixing ratio 4,2:1 (volume) for a good result. A set contains the exact amount of hardener that fits to the amount of paint. For application on untreated concrete floors thin the mixture with 10% water in first layer. Apply with a broom or a brush. Second layer is applied un-diluted with a roller.
- Note: Do NOT thin with water in the final layer and apply thin layers. Always use the same batch no. throughout the final layer.
- Coverage: 6 m2/l.
- Drying Time: Dry to recoat after 4-6 hours and after maximum 24 hours at 20°C. Dry to use after 2 days. Fully cured after 7 days. Do not wash the floor until after 7 days. Make sure to have good and sufficient ventilation during the drying time.
- Note: Use of strong chemicals/un-diluted soap and cleaning agents can make the floor less cleanable.
- Cleaning of tools: Water.
- Storage: Dry and frost free.
