First aid for selecting the correct hydraulic cylinder

Imagine your customer has a machine with a defective hydraulic cylinder and therefore he cannot continue with his work. You want to help the customer immediately with finding the correct hydraulic cylinder. How do you find the correct hydraulic cylinder the quickest? Read our easy steps below.

Tip 1: Check our standard hydraulic cylinders
Always first check the standard Kramp cylinders on the webshop. We offer various hydraulic cylinders. These hydraulic cylinders are already in stock. If the correct cylinder is among the standard products, you can order it immediately. This saves you time and money. The following applies to the cylinders in stock: ordered today, delivered tomorrow.

Tip 2: Do you know our hydraulic cylinder DIY kits?
In addition to the standard Kramp cylinders, you can also order cylinder DIY kits on our webshop. Here you can choose between double- and single-acting DIY cylinders. After choosing between these two options, you can search for the suitable dimensions. The DIY kits are also delivered the next day.

Tip 3: Assemble your own hydraulic cylinder
Have not found the correct cylinder yet? Do you need something specific? Then choose the cylinder configurator on the webshop. Here you can put together and order your own cylinder together with the customer. The cylinder configurator is included in the workshop machining configurator and has many options.

Not sure exactly which cylinder you need? Then you can enter the information below in the configurator. This option will help you to find the correct position and bore combination. Filling in is therefore not mandatory, but it will help you with finding the correct cylinder.

1. Volume flow rate [l / m];
2. Working pressure [bar].

Additionally, you can then enter the General Characteristics.
1. Line;
2. Cylinder mounting;
3. Finishing;
4. Rod type.

In the configurator you can choose for different delivery times. The delivery time always depends on the size of the order.

Short delivery time: +/- 2 weeks
Standard delivery time: +/- 5 weeks
Economic delivery time: +/- 8 weeks

Tip 4: Use our cylinder express
What is the cylinder express? This is an extra option in our cylinder configurator. Very useful when you need a cylinder that is not for sale in our webshop. The cylinder is then delivered in three days. Please note: with the cylinder express, the cylinder must be made with standard parts. When ordering in the configurator you can see whether express delivery is still possible. This is indicated by an icon in the configurator.

The benefits of the cylinder express:

• Fast delivery;
• Technical drawings are still available;
• The same quality.
