Even though our spring has been mainly wet with many showers; nevertheless, we hope for a warm summer again this year. We recently told you why a trampoline can’t be missing from your garden. But have you also thought of a real swimming pool? How do you know which pool suits your needs? Read it here!

Inflatable pool or above ground frame pool
Large swimming pools used to be inconvenient and expensive. That is why we used to inflate the pools ourselves every summer. But times have changed! Frame pools are nowadays not nearly as expensive anymore. And did you know that such a swimming pool is often assembled within an hour? Only the filling takes a little longer...

Something for every garden
Round, square, rectangular, almost any shape is available nowadays. This also applies to the content. Some pools are so big that you even need steps to climb into them, and with today's filters and maintenance kits, you no longer have to worry about keeping them clean.

Splash in all weathers
Swimming pools are also available with a cover. That means that swimming in bad weather is no longer a problem*. You also have to refresh the water less often and the water heats up faster. A lot more sustainable! Another advantage of using a cover is that children cannot easily fall in during an unguarded moment. That's not to say they can't open the cover themselves. So never leave children alone in or around the pool!

* Of course, this does not apply in all weather conditions. Never go swimming in storms or thunderstorms!

How do you choose the pool that suits you?
There are so many different swimming pools. How do you choose the right one? It is important to ask yourself the following questions.

How much space do you have?
Do you have room for a round or rectangular swimming pool? Before you buy the pool, measure the spot well. Also take into account some extra space around the pool. Do you want to swim laps or float on your lilo? This also affects the shape or size.

How deep should it be?
How deep do you want the pool to be? Especially consider who uses the pool. You need steps for high pools. This makes the water less accessible for young children or people with walking difficulties.

Do you want a cover?
A cover keeps your pool cleaner for longer, it heats up the water faster and protects you against rain and wind. If you like this, choose a swimming pool with a cover over it.
