Technical info
  • 500 HB steel can be welded either electrically or using the MIG/MAG process. It is extremely important that the material to be welded is pre-heated to between 50 and 75°C and that the welded material is cooled in a controlled manner
  • For electric welding: an alkaline welding rod is recommended, but a standard welding rod can also be used
  • MIG/MAG: SG3 wire is recommended, but a standard SG2 wire can also be used
