Long description | The standard Omega belt meets average performance requirements for slow to fast rotating drives without special shock loads. The back of the belt is made of a flexible polychloroprene compound that protects the cord layer from external influences. The cord layer is composed of fibreglass threads twisted in pairs in opposite directions. It has very good bending properties, very low elasticity and high tensile strength. Like the back of the belt, the teeth are made of a polychloroprene rubber compound, which provides high shear strength and features a polyamide fabric that protects the tines from premature wear and prevents chipping. The low coefficient of friction ensures low operating temperatures and reduces noise levels. Show more | |
