  • Basket Fans from Vostermans Ventilation are in many cases an ideal solution. Because of the wide range of diameters (ranging from 20" to 50") and the variable capacity, these fans can be applied in different building structures and under a variety of circumstances: circulation of cool air to improve the working climate in combination with air extraction fans in order to refresh the air constantly and remove warm air under difficult production circumstances in wet conditions in the case of aggressive fumes Vostermans Ventilation offers the dairy sector a very efficient basket fan, the Dairy Fan with a diameter of 130 cm. The modern, highly productive dairy cows need to be served with optimal climatic conditions year-round. Above 22-25°C the cows start reducing their feed intake, need energy to get rid of the excessive heat production and therefore start losing the usual high milk production levels.
  • Because of the high throw of the Dairy fan and high airflow (48.500 m³/h at 0 Pa) the unique fan offers a cooling effect. Not all of the dairy barns are high enough to install our 130 cm Dairy Fan. For these barns we have the 50 and 71 cm Basket Fans available. Smaller in size, but with the same working principle as the 130 cm Dairy Fan.
