This grant is to support farming families with whatever they need, be it cooking, cleaning, extra hands etc. There are 12 grants available and each will be provided as £500 cash.

This grant is designed to support young farmers starting out on their farming journey. There are 12 grants available in 2024 and each will consist of £500 of Kramp credit.

This grant is designed for small contractors that employ less than 5 people. There are two grants available in 2024, and each is provided as £1000 of Kramp credit.

This grant is for large contractors employing 5 or more people. There is one grant available in 2024 and it will be provided as £3000 of Kramp credit.

The Foundation works closely with Young Farmers Clubs, HSE, the Farm Safety Partnerships and a range of farming organisations to help raise awareness of farm safety among young farmers, challenge and change their attitudes towards farming safely and reduce the toll of injuries and fatalities which bring heartbreak and misery to numerous families and rural communities every year.

Farms for City Children is a charity enabling children from disadvantaged communities to experience the adventure of working together on our farms in the heart of the British countryside.

Children are immersed in a totally new world, far away from their everyday life. A world with birdsong, clear starry skies, fresh air, real food and plenty of mud. A world where you can see, hear, smell, touch and taste the possibility. It’s a profound experience that will stay with them for life.

LEAF (Link­ing Envi­ron­ment And Farm­ing) is a nation­al char­i­ty that helps farm­ers improve the way they farm by encour­ag­ing them to take up Inte­grat­ed Farm­ing. LEAF also helps to cre­ate a bet­ter pub­lic under­stand­ing of farm­ing through our nation­al net­work of Demon­stra­tion Farms, Inno­va­tion Cen­tres, LEAF Edu­ca­tion work and ini­tia­tives like LEAF Open Farm Sun­day. LEAF brings farm­ers and con­sumers togeth­er to raise aware­ness of how farm­ers are work­ing in har­mo­ny with nature to pro­duce good food with envi­ron­men­tal care, sustainably.

Established in 1860, we have been offering guidance, financial support and practical care to farming people of all ages for generations.

Confidential support is available to those who currently work within agriculture and also to those who are no longer able to work in the sector due to ill-health, accident or age.
