  • BALLAST pumps have a crash protection system (for example, this can protect the rotor and the rotor housing if a disc breaks by pushing down the rotor, including flange mounting, so that it is out of the way)
  • BALLAST pumps provide longer running times in vacuum operation
  • Supplied with heat-resistant "long-life" discs as standard
  • The pump temperature can be read on the temperature gauge strips
  • The inspection hole with maximum wear indicator allows the wear on the discs to be checked
  • Battioni Pagani performs vacuum, compression and lubrication tests on all pumps before they leave the factory
  • A test report is prepared for each pump by serial number

  • The lubrication is applied by the manufacturer and can not be adjusted without the proper tool
  • Always check whether the lubrication is actually working when the pump is switched on
  • Oil to be used for lubricating the vanes: genuine oil from B.P. Oil item number: BP5070
  • Pumps with indirect drive (M) must be driven anti-clockwise
  • The direction of rotation is determined when the axle to be driven is aligned with the observer
  • If, for example, a pump is driven directly by a tractor unit, it must be driven anti-clockwise
