Details
  • Generates less friction and can accommodate higher shaft speeds compared to double-lip seals
  • Made from an injection moulded thermoplastic polyether ester elastomer (TPE)
Application range
  • Use as a replacement for double-seals in the size range 507 to 522
  • Suitable for peripheral speeds of up to 13 m/s
Properties
  • Easy to mount
  • The maximum permissible misalignment of the shaft relative to the housing is approximately 1° for diameters up to 100 mm and approximately 0,5° for larger shafts
  • The permissible axial movement of the shaft relative to the housing is not limited by the seal

2 seals (4 halves)
Technical info
  • The counterfaces for the seals on the shaft should be ground and the surface roughness Ra should not exceed 3,2 μm
  • The recommended shaft tolerance is h9
